New Sunday Service times. (Sunday, Feb. 3) Beginning March 2, 2008, Sunday Services at The Center for Spiritual Living will be:

      9:45 to 10:45 am: 1st Sunday Celebration
      11:15 am to 12:30 pm: 2nd Sunday Celebration

Her mission is to enhance the ability of all individuals to fulfill their greatest potential on this physical plane by providing all people with tools, information, products and services that facilitate healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Her vision is to realize a world where people live within their authentic power through knowledge of Spirit, spiritual laws and spiritual principles.

Her purpose is to impart information that lends to personal transformation.  Thus, creating a world where people live in freedom and total acceptance of one another through the power of unconditional love.

Iyanla is a Life Coach on the TV series, “Starting Over” and the author of three books – “One Day My Soul Just Opened Up”, “Yesterday I Cried”, and “In the Meantime”.

Biographies

 

Rev. Dr. Petra Weldes, Senior Minister:

Rev. Petra Weldes has been Senior Minister of the Center for Spiritual Living, Dallas since February 1, 1998. She is the Dean of the Holmes Institute (seminary), Dallas, and a member of its faculty. She recently completed her term as Chair of the United Church of Religious Science (UCRS) CORE Council (its highest international governing body) and was past Chair of the UCRS Nominating Team. Rev. Petra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from the University of Dallas in Irving, TX, (1996) and graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Metaphysical Philosophy from the Ernest Holmes College (1984), currently the Holmes Institute. She more recently received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Holmes Institute (2004). Rev. Petra became a Religious Science Practitioner in 1983 and received ordination in 1988. more

 

Rev. Marsha Meghdadhpour, Assistant Minister:

Rev. Marsha was first introduced to Religious Science in the mid 1980’s in Dallas TX. She left corporate America, in 1995, after 28 years to answer the call to serve by moving from Dallas to Denver CO where she attended the Holmes Institute, graduating in 1998 as a Religious Science Fellow.  She was the founding minister of New Horizons Church of Religious Science outside of Boulder CO and served there as the Senior Minister for five years before being called to move back to Dallas in January 2005 to be closer to her 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  Her duties at CSL include the coordination of the Spiritual Development Institute for all classes, the scheduling of guest speakers and presenters and interaction with the Dallas Satellite campus of Holmes Institute that graduates Religious Science ministers in the Masters of Consciousness Studies program.  She is currently, herself, a student of the Masters Program with intentions of acquiring her degree in 2008.  She avidly promotes the Science of Mind and Spirit principles by teaching classes and she has served the UCRS for 2 years as the Chairperson of the Awards Committee. more
 

Rev. Lee Wolak, Assistant Minister

Lee Wolak was named as the Assistant Minister on August 7, 2007. He has been a member of the Center for Spiritual Living, Dallas community since 2000 where he was granted his professional Religious Science Practitioner license in 2004.  He is completed his ministerial studies at the Holmes Institute and received a Masters of Arts Degree in Consciousness Studies in June 2007. Lee’s passion for the teachings of Science of Mind shows in everything he does. He believes that when one lives centered in these teachings anyone can experience a life where each and every moment is filled with joy and abundance. Lee’s mission is to use his talents to help make the Center for Spiritual Living a home where any and all individuals can come and share their journey of self-discovery.  Lee is married to Jean Wolak, RScP, at the center.  They have two sons, Stephen and Matthew. more
